Mary Clawson, dau of John, m.Timothy Marsh 1808

Mary Clawson was born near the mouth of the Little Miami River in 1787, the first white child born in the area. Her father was John Clawson from KY, who probably came to what is now Preble Co. before 1808, because Mary married Timothy Marsh there in 1808. There were apparently 2 John Clawsons in tha area at the time, one who died in Preble Co. in 1827 and the other who left Preble Co. in 1818 and died somewhere in Indiana 3 years later. I believe the one that died in Indiana is the father of my ancestor, Mary (b. 1787, m. Timothy Marsh).

I would like to exchange information with anyone on these families. I would especially like to know where John went in Indiana and who his other children might have been.
