Kaye,

Thank you for sharing..It sure sounds like we may be shirt-tail cousins, ....Does the name ::: Ruddell ring a bell??

My gggg father, Capt. Ruddell was in with my other ggggg father, CoL Benjamin Wilson, all from Scotland and Wales perhaps, to VA,.My gggg father, LT. Jeremiah Bell Howell .They fought the RW, Indian Wars, Civil War along with the rest of our kin, Ochiltree, Blake, Williams, Byrne, Buckner...

The Ruddells came to Maryville MO after the Civil War. I also found two graves here with just a registration in the book :: Ruddell....male and female. I suppose they were killed by Indians as there are no known records of them..

Thanks again for the information..
