Mary C. Auchey-Preble Co. Ohio

Looking for any information on the family of Mary Catherine Auchey b. March 1848 in Ohio. She on the 1850 Ohio Census in Preble County. The Census list her with Peter Achey 27 years old & Margaret 24 years old. It list Mary as 2 and a Malinda at 6/12 months. All are shown as born in Ohio. I am not sure if they spelled, who I assume is her father, his last name incorrectly or if they spelled it different on purpose. I have notice on other documents that her last name has been spelled Auchy & Achy.

I was not able to find the family in the Ohio 1860 Census. I located Mary again on the Ohio 1870 Census in Montgomery County with her husband Samuel Vance White.

Most of the families with a similar last name seem to be from PA. The last name sounds German to me, I am guessing it is Pennsylvania Dutch.
