Stephen, can't help you on that George W. Wilson, but there is a bio on what I assume is his grandson, also named George W. Wilson, in the County History book. History of Preble County, Ohio, page 91 contains the following:
George W. Wilson, Esq., son of Jefferson wilson, is a native of Somers townshpi, this county, and was called to the bar May 14, 1869, at the same time with the two gentlemen last named. After his admission he engaged in the practice in this place for a few months, but soon was employed in the internal revenue service of the Government, in which he has been engaged up to the present time, residing in Hamilton.
