Ok, for Reuben, it's not a lot of help. There is an extensive article about the Hopewell Church. It starts:
"In the years 1806 and 1807 several families, members of the Associate Reformed church, emigrated from the States of Kentucky and South Carolina and settled in Israel township in the midst of the Beech Woods."
As it happens, one of my ancestors, Alexander Hamilton, was in this group. He was from the Abbeville or 96 District, South Carolina. Anyway, the article goes on to list people who constituted the first membership of the church, Reuben C. and Andrew Weed among them. It's too long to post but if you want a copy, e-mail me with your address and I will snail mail.
Not much help on William Dickey either. An article regarding the Civil War and listing of persons fighting. William is listed as a private. Will mail this page if you want.
Can't find either of your Turners in the book. Sorry.
