Hi Charles, Guess what I got your message about Jacob and Elizabeth Swain living in New Hope and got into Jackson Twps. and I find them their too. Its say Jacob Swain emigrated from Pennsylvania in 1814 and settled in Jackson Twp., on the land where New Hope now is, where he and his wife, Elizabeth Bloom, spent the rest of their days. They had eleven children, six of whom are living: Hannah Miller, Dural Swain in Jefferson, and Elisha, in Washington twps., of this County; Polly Almonrode lives in Illinois; Polly Quinn, in Ilowa, and Malinda Ogbern, in Indiana. After I got your message I find Jacob in Jackson Twp. But I'm not finding nothing in the history book in Washington Twp. The history of 1798 to 1881 of Preble Co. Ohio I'll keep looking in all the twp. for more info. Thank you once again my dear friend your a million. Linda
