I am submitting the information I found in the compilation of the 1850 census of Preble Co., OH. I did not find a Sarah Brock in Harrison Twp. The only Brock I found in all of Preble Co. was Martha Brock in Harrison Twp. Below you will find the information I saw. There may be more on the original records, but I don't have a copy at home.

Phillips, Hezekiah 60 m T farmer 1500
Mary 49 f NC
John 16 m O farmer
Brock, Mary 7 f O

I would say that Mary was living with her grandparents or that she was a child who was hired out for day work. I am sorry that I can't tell you any more. Debbie
