Waggoner and Painter families of Preble County
Posted by: Barbara Perrance (ID *****2815) Date: March 31, 2010 at 23:49:49
  of 1623

Searching for information about brothers Jacob, George and Joseph Waggoner, probable sons of Jacob Waggoner, Sr. Also searching for Henry Painter, Sr. and Henry Painter, Jr. Both families resided in both Staunton and Waynesboro, Augusta Co, VA in 1820. The younger generations of both families moved to Preble Co, Ohio by 1840. Painter women married two of these younger generation Waggoner men. Catherine Painter married Jacob Waggoner, Jr. and Mary (Polly) Painter married George Waggoner in 1817. The marriage bond of George and Mary (Painter) Waggoner was signed by Henry Painter and Joseph Waggoner. Any input would be appreciated
