John Young - which Elizabeth did he marry in 184x?

The Ancestry Ohio Marriages has two John Youngs who marry Elizabeths in Preble County:

Young, John to Eikenberry, Elizabeth on 30 Dec 1846.
Young, John Henry to Emerick, Elizabeth on 9 Mar 1848.

I'm chasing the John Young b. 1826-28 to Adam Young and Catherine Brubaker. I am 99% certain that "my" John Young married Elizabeth Eikenberry, but that 1% keeps me awake at night. I have scoured the wonderful Preble County Library site. All of John and Elizabeth's children married before the marriage license application asked for parents. Does anyone have an answer?

This is the family from 1850 - 1880.

In 1850 the family is in Gasper, Preble, Ohio:

John Young, 22, farmer, Ohio
Elizabeth "", 19, ""
Catherine "", 2, ""
Isaac "", 1, ""

[Note that Catherine's age would argue strongly in favor of the 1846 Eikenberry marriage, unless John was sowing some wild oats.)

In 1860 the family has moved across the river to Ervin Twp, Howard, Indiana, PO Poplar Grove, mis-recorded as "Yong".

John Yong, 33, farmer, Ohio
Elizabeth "", 29, do
Catharine "", 10, do
Isaac "", 9, do
Adam "", 8, do
Sarah, 6, do
Delila, 4, Ina
Harriet, 2, do

In 1870 the family is back in Gasper Twp, Preble, Ohio; PO Eaton.

Young, John, 43, farmer, Ohio
----, Elizabeth, 40, keeping house, Ohio
----, Isaac, 20, works on farm, Ohio
----, Adam, 18, works on farm, Ohio
----, Sarah, 16, assists at home, , Ohio
----, Delia, 14, attending school, Ohio
----, Harriet, 12, attending school, Indiana
----, Mary, 9, attending school, Indiana
----, Simon, 4, at home, Ohio
----, Rueben, 1, Ohio

Delia (Delila, Delilah), who will go on to marry Andrew Sherer/Scherer, says she was born in Indiana in 1860 and in every census entry from 1880 onwards.

In 1880 John and the last bit of his family is in Gasper, Preble, Ohio:

John Young, Self, M, Male, W, 53, Oh, Farmer, Md, Va,
Elisabath Young, Wife, M, Female, W, 50, Oh, Keeping House, Oh, Oh,
Ruben Young, Son, S, Male, W, 11, Oh, , Oh, Oh,
Catharine Wysong, Mother, Female, W, 74, Va, At Home, Va, Va
