Hi,
You might start looking in Chester Co. and surrounding counties in South Carolina. It's a start. I had searched family that settled in Preble Co. around the early 1800's that also were members of the Presbyterian Church. They came from Chester Co. S.C. Alot of the so called Covenentors came from South Carolina. They are mostly of Scots-Irish origin. I hope this helps. You will also notice that alot of these same families that had settled in Preble Co. also moved onto Iowa where they settled in towns that bear the same names that are in Preble. Towns such as Morning Star, Fairhaven, and also Hopewell. It is possible that they moved there. Hopewell was also the name of one of the ships that carried some of these families from Ulster Ireland to South Carolina in the late 1700's. If your of Scots-Irish descent than you may find alot of info in South Carolina but it is hard to find online. At least I haven't had alot of luck.
Good Luck in your search
