I have a Catherine Eslinger named as the daughter of Jacob Riner in his will of 1858 in Berkeley Co, VA (W). Jacob, b 1767, died in 1858 in Berkeley Co. Jacob also listed a daughter Margaret Grubb in his will. Margaret Riner married John Grubb, 20 Sep 1820 in Berkeley Co, VA (W). I believe her to be probably the mother of the Margaret Grub, age 23, listed living with Margaret Kerns in 1860 Preble Co, OH census.
Margaret Riner, sister of Jacob Riner above, married Henry Kerns, 27 Sep 1814 in Berkeley Co, VA (W). Catherine Eslinger, Margaret Grubs, and Margaret Carns (Kerns) all are listed on page 196, 1860, Gratis Twp, Preble Co, OH.
Any thoughts or comments on this please.
