Hello-Not sure if we are related or not. I have been doing search fromthe same cemetery I think!
My Dad was Donald-his Father was Fred-and his Father was Richard. Richard I knnow had 2 sister. Abbey Nichoson who moved to Downs. Kansas and a Jenny Hopkins. Fred had one sisteer Nina Lonabarger. Fred and his wife Elsie(my grandparents) lived in Kent. Ohio
My Dad passed away last year and I told my Aunts-Dad's sisters that I was interested in finding family history.
I was told and we had gone there plenty of times to Nelson Ledges in Garrestville,Ohio and was told that the Bancroft Family ahhd owned it at one time. There is a sign at the arcade telling about John being the first white settler and the Indians tht were in the area. There is a woman named Newsome(?)in the area that is somehow related and knows family history--this I hope to check out next summer. I live 3 hours away from there.
I would be very interested in hearing from you if you are related in any way. If I find this person and learn anything from her I will share with you
thank You, Sandi
