Do you have a Knapp married to a George Goodyear? My John (Johan) and Georg came to the U.S. in 1853 from Germany to Portage Co., OH. John found listed as Gooden in Suffield married to Mary Ann Kline. In Germany they are found as GUTHIER but John and Mary raised all of their 9 children as GOODYEAR!!!!! Believe families were Catholic but later became DUNKARD when they moved to Marshall Co., IN. Have received data from a descendant of George. Best to reply
