I am looking for the location of an old farm owned by Levi & Catherine Rhoads prior to December 24, 1881. It is possibly somewhere along todays, Green Ridge Rd, North of Rt 124, in Benton Twp, Pike Co, Ohio. The Warrentee Deed for the sale of this property, is recorded in Pike County Book 28, page 525, January 11, 1882. for Levi Rhodes & his wife Catherine selling the property to Christian Benner. It is described as being "on the ridge between the Sunfish and Morgan's Fork". Which describes Green Ridge Rd very well. It is also described as being "on the Westerly side of Donalson Road from Chillicothe to Simestone... containing fifty acres". After this sale, Levi & Catherine Rhodes seem to disappear, though Levi would have only been 47 years old.
