Myers, Johnson

In 1863 John R Myers married Mary Jane Johnson, daughter of John Johnson and Nancy Starr of Camp Creek, Pike County, Ohio, where John R and Mary Jane were married. Sometime after the marriage they moved to Chillicothe, Ross County Ohio where one of their children was born: John A, March 1863. John R's other sons were Samuel D- 1867 and William H- 1868, but they were born in Camp Creek, Pike County indicating the family moved back there. John R was the right age to serve in the Civil War, but children were born during and after the war, leaving question as to whether or not he did serve. I cannot find John R on the 1870 census that is conclusively the correct John R, but three daughters credited him as their father, last born in 1875. A divorce was filed for in 1873, but I don't know if the courthouse record I found was a divorce applied for or granted. I assumed granted and now that this other child is after 1873 I don't know. We can find no death record for John R. We can find no conclusive birth record. We don't know his parent's names. We would like to know all of this information. ALSO, would like to know which of the many John Johnson's of Pike County Nancy Starr married. We have several generations of the Starr family. We would like to add the Johnsons and Myers too. Any help would be appreciated. This is my paternal gg grandfather and his father in law. AS A SIDE NOTE: John A Myers married Ida Laura McClay at the Starr farm where John and Nancy had been married, but it was then occupied by Ida's uncle, James McClay, who rented it from Henry Stahler in partnership with James Myers. The partnership had held a mortgage that Henry C Starr did not pay so they forclosed. Point is, I can't find James Myers on any census either with a son John R, but the relationship of all these folks is just uncanny.
