Hi Peggy,
I recieved a better copy of that land sale along the Sunfish Creek. The discription I included below. Ther is something about the West side of Donaldson Rd & being between the Sunfish & Morgan's Fork. I am not sure if they mean Sunfish & Morgan Creek Road, or the actual body of water. There are both, it seems. Thanks a bunch for any help in finding or narrowing down where GGrandpa's farm was.

Land discription for Levi & Catherine's land sale in 1888 -
...The real state situate in the County of Pike, in the State of Ohio, and in the Virginia Military District and bounded and described as follows,viz number of entry 7590 surveyed on part of Military warrent No. 5871 on the waters of Sunfish beginning at a white oak marked "FE" on the westerly side of Donaldsons Road from Chillicothe to Limestone on the ridge between Sunfish & Morgan's Fork, north 70 e 50 polesto a DogWood afifty acres more or lesse south 20 w 89 poles to two dogwoods and a black oak, thence south 70 w 90 poles crossing a small branch at 22 poles to a double walnut, thence south 20 e 89 polesto a white oak black oak and chestnut oak, thence north 70 e 40 poles to the beginning containing fifty acres be the same more or less
