Thomas & Sarah (Hankins) Shopshire (our line) of Pike Co, Ohio had ten children. Some stayed in Ohio, but I've traced the others thru states, including Iowa, Kansas, Indiana, Colorado, Washington, Oregon and California, and one son's family went to British Columbia, Canada. Our line also had brief stays in Wisconsin, Nebraska, Idaho & Nevada.
But, to answer your question, I'm not aware of any of them going to Tennesee, although it may be possible.
In my research I've thought the Tennesse-Georgia-Arkansas Shropshire were of another branch. Many Shropshire/Shopshire's started from Cumberland County, New Jersey, which may benefit your research.
