Hi Judy,
I am the great-great-great grandson of Thornton Monroe through his son William, William's son Robert M., Robert's daughter Hazel, Hazel's daughter Barbara, who is my mom. Robert (who lived in his grandfather's house with Thornton and Thornton's mother Elizabeth Wood)and his wife Irene Baker Monroe had 10 surviving children. I knew most of them and their offspring. Let me know if I can provide you with any other info. I am a historian/ genealogy librarian at the Cincinnati Public Library.
Hope to hear from you soon,
Mitch Katz
