George R. Beck and Clara Bell Ackley marriage
My ggf George Riley Beck wed Clara Bell Ackley (b. Jun 15, 1878 in OH) on Jan 24, 1898 in Pickaway, OH. Born to this Union two children: James A. Beck (Aug. 30, 1898 in Kinnikinnick,OH) and Esther Beck (Dec, 1899 in Franklin, OH). Clara Ackley died Apr. 15, 1900 in Pike, OH and is presumedly buried there. Esther Beck died May 1, 1900 in Pike, OH and is presumedly buried there also (with her mother?)
I would like to locate where (what cemetery) Clara Ackley Beck and Esther Beck are buried in. Also I'm am trying to locate where in Pike Co., OH ggf George R. Beck lived with his son and wife until her death in Apr. 1900 and Esther's death in May, 1900. I have located George R. Beck in the 1900 Census for Ohio, Franklin Co, Marion Twp. Roll 1266, Book 2, page 201a. He was residing in the household of a William Ratcliff of 246 Reynolds Ave, Family #259. It is stated that George Beck was a boarder at the house, white male, born Oct. 1873, he was 26 yrs of age, a widower, born in OH as were both his father and mother were; his occupation was a Track ( Trunk, or truck) builder at that time, his son, James is not listed as living with him.
In 1910 Census, Clark Co., Roll 1158, Book 2, page 122A for 2nd ward of Springfield, OH George R. Beck is shown as residing at 701 East SDtreet, Family #291. Emma is listed as his wife, age 22, married 3 yrs, mother of 1 child, 1 living child; she and her parents were all born in OH. Herman C. Beck is shown as son, age 2; James is listed as son, age 11, parents and self born in OH. I would like to know with whom James lived from May, 1900 until the 1910 Census.
Was there an Ackley family in Pike Co. who took young James in until his father could settle elsewhere and come back for James or write to have him brought to him at his new residence? Maybe some of George's mother's family, the Seymours took in the young James for a period of time?
