This is an update to my own posting about George W. Wyrick and Mary E. Elmore's marriage record. I have receive a marriage record on my George Wyrick and Mary E. Elmore from the:

They are very pleasant and helpful. You can call them and they will tell you all that they can do for you. So now I have my proof of my George W. Wyrick did marry a Mary E. Elmore. Now I need to found out who his parents were. They were married 10 Nov 1859 by a Minister of the Gospel Rev. Joel Swartz. This is off the marriage record. Found a article about the churches there in Pickaway county. This is a Lutheran Church. The Evangelical Lutheran synod of Pennsylvania delegated the first Reverand to go and organize congregations. This is who sent Rev. Joel Swartz there to pastor. But the church had disagreements and split. Rev. Joel Swartz had the Evangelical group and the current Trinity Lutheran Church was the other group. Also the churh had services in German and English. The first sermons were in German only and then they had German and English. This leads me to believe that George Wyrick was German. Not sure if Mary Elmore is of German background. Will have to look into that as her father William Elmore is from PA.
