OBITUARY.

Christina MOONEY was born in Circleville, Pickaway Co., O., June 24th, 1812.
Was united in marriage with Geo. WISEMAN Mch. 22, 1832. There were born to
them six children, four sons and two daughter, five of which survive them.
They immigrated to Iowa City, Iowa in 1851. Came to Decatur Co., Ia., in 1878,
where she resided until her death Mch. 18, 1894, at the home of her son, P. J.
WISEMAN. The funeral service was conducted by Rev. Robert BEER at the Leroy
church.

Rest thee, mother, rest forever.
Thou hast borne life's burdens long;
New thy crown and harp receiving
Swell the glad eternal song.
