Researching the Brown family whose son, Henry was married to Edith Davis in Pickaway County on Mar 11, 1824 by Jacob Linsay, J.P., I have Henry's War of 1812 Pension records from the National Archives and it states he fought with a Frederick Co., VA militia unit. From Ohio he went to Brown Co., IL with homestead land. Anyone know for sure who his parents might be? Possibly William and wife Rebecca from info the Historical Society of Pickaway Co sent on? Will mentions his dividing property among seven children but will only names four.
