the Mallen family of Chapel Hill, Monroe twp, Pery
Hi Sherole,
Thank you for your reply. My Alice Mallen was the Mother of the 12 children. She was married to Michael Mallen and they lived in Chapel Hill. It is her death record that you recorded in your message. She and Michael Mallen lived in Chapel Hill until 1866 and all of their children were born there. There children were: John born about 1842, Mary born abt 1844, Ann, born abot 1845, Catherine, born abt 1847, Martha born abt 1849, Louisa born abt 1851, Frances, born abt 1857, Henry born abt 1859, Alice born 1862 and Michael B. Mallen, jr. abt 1865. Records seem to be non existance for Mary Mallen, Louisa, Frances, Bernard, Henry and a daughter named Bridget whom I have no idea when she was born. All of these children had died before 1900. Can you tell me where I can find very old records on Chapel Hill, Monroe twp., Perry Co. Ohio deaths, births or marriages.
Thank you so much for any help.
Ruth in Pa.
