According to the 1880 US Census for Marion Twp., Allen Co., OH (p 275b), GREENBURY Tucker is living with his son, Madison aged 26 and his family. Others in the household are Zelda (wife) age 21, Warren (son) 3, Ada (daughter) 8 mos (b. Oct 1879), Greenbury (father) 68, and Emmanuel (Madison's brother) 18. It says that Greenbury was born in Ohio, and that both his parents were born in PA.
In the 1900 census of Allen Co. p 93a he is listed as GREENBERY W. Tucker. He is living in the home of Miner Long 54 (b Aug 1845) and his wife Nancy 48 (b Aug 1851). Also in the home are Dane L. (son) 18 (March 3, 1881), Don C. (son) 14 (Dec 5, 1885), Clifford (son) 10 (Dec 1889), and Greenbery W. (father-in-law) 86 (Aug 1814). It says that he was born in WV as were both of his parents.
According to LDS, Greenberry's wife was Mary (Polly) Stultz b. 1824 in Perry Co., OH m. June 3, 1841 , Perry Co., Ohio. Madison's wife's maiden name was Ford and they were m. 28 FEB 1876 , Allen, Ohio.
No idea about the time between 1820 and 1850 except for his marriage. Greenbury 47 was in Allen County, OH by the 1860 census with Mary 37, Edgar 18, Jane 9, and Madison 6. Says all were born in OH except Greenbury (VA).
Not yet in Allen County in 1850.
Are you sure about Greenberry's parents? LDS has other ideas.
