Paulding Co. Railroad Accident 1897
Posted by: Candy Ditkowski (ID *****7063) Date: July 25, 2007 at 10:33:21

Does anyone have any idea as to how I might go about finding or getting documentation regarding an accident that happened involving the railroad in Paulding Co., Ohio?

Jessie Parrish born in 1895 in Jackson Twp., Paulding Co., Ohio. Family history says that he wandered away from his home and out to the nearby railroad tracks when he was two years old (in 1897) and killed by a passing train.

Would there be any formal record of this? Where might I find it? I was told that it was the old Nickel Plate RailRoad?

Thoughts? Ideas?

Thanks,
Candy
