I'm sorry, but I cannot find anything more than what you have from the Hipp's book on Grover Hill. I tried the Ohiohistory link to look for death certs ... that site link is:
Perhaps you can think of some way to find these names/dates under "mistyped, misfiled info".

I used the 1918 death date and placed W* in the last name for a wildcard search, but still didn't find anything. After trying Paulding COunty, I tried Putnam & Van Wert, but nothing there either. Since these transcribers are trying to read/input sometimes impossible penmanship, it's hard to tell how these death certs were entered.

Sorry I couldn't be of help. I know the feeling of not finding information that you KNOW just has to be there somewhere.

My Frost/Henry line in the Putnam/Paulding Counties is also very frustrating. Thank goodness for Laurence Hipp's book! That has been a great help to at least KNOW they were there!
