Dear Barbara, Your information on Paulding County History has helped me a lot. I found the McQuiston's and Barkers in it. They are all related to me. Are records somewhere on the United Brethren Church that was the first one organized in that county? I haven't found a marriage record of Edward McQuestion and Jane Barker, but history records say they were the first married in Jackson County when it split off from Brown in 1851 or so. If I could find church records, perhaps they would have a record of the marriage recorded. The county has no record available.
Thanks,
Marilyn Graham
