Being that these people were the earliest settlers in the county and their marriage was the first one, I would doubt that any records were kept, except maybe by the church. There was a church mentioned in that article. Also mentioned were William and John Barker. Perhaps one of them was Mary Jane's father.
Those early families all intermarried over the generations, so you could check those surnames. However, my family is amongst those, and I have no further information on Edward McQuiston or Mary Jane Barker!! I have other Barkers after her, but have not made the connection yet.
Look in the counties to the east. All of my ancestors migrated through Ohio, stopping in Muskingum, Licking and Delaware counties before moving on to Paulding County. They originally started out in Maryland, through Virginia and Kentucky to Ohio. I believe the Licking County website has some excellent migration route information.
