She was living with her son, John, in Ottawa County. Since I found your message on the Jefferson Co. board at ancestry the other day, I have been trying to find what I could. I found a source for her husband's obituary, but there is a six week wait. There are a few things that have been found, but much that has not. Is there any chance we could exchange information?
My direct line is through John Crouch's half brother, Daniel Merritt Crouch. Like you, I keep trying to fill out some of the branches in the family tree. I look forward to hearing from you.
