I have since learned their children were: Morris (Mads) Peters (B:3/14/1850 in Emmerlev Parish, Denmark); John (Nicolaisen) Nickelsen (B: 10/6/1856 in Emmerlev Parish, Denmark; Carl Mathiesen Nicolaisen (B:3/2/1859 in Emmerlev Parish, Denmark); Caroline Marie Nickelsen (B: 1/6/1861 in Emmerlev) and married John L. Truelsen; Martha Maria Nickelsen (B: 8/29/1867 in Denmark) married August Truelsen. Carl is not believed to have come to the USA. Morris married Elene Davids (B: 11/3/1845) and had 2 children John E. Peters and Alvina G. Peters, who married Daniel W. Holtcamp.

Caroline and John Truelsen had 5 children: Annie C., Louis N.(married Hattie Lovett); Sadie M. Carrie C. (never married); and Nick E. (never married).

Martha and August F. Truelsen had 3 children: Carl Lawrence Truelsen (married Bertha Reiber); Cena M. Truelsen and Cora Theresa Truelsen.

I would love to hear from any descendents of these families.
