I'm trying to locate any information regarding Amos and Jane McClintic Jewett--especially burial location (married 24 Jan. 1819 , Guernsey, Oh). Amos was born to Samuel and Ruth Hadley Merrill Jewett in Jay, Franklin, ME in 1794. I believe he died in 1829, but I don't have a record, nor any info on Jane McClintic Jewett. Amos' brother, Nathan Jewett, is burried in Dye Cemetary, in Brookfield Noble County). Land in Noble was left to children of Amos and Jane: Samuel, Henry, and John Noble Jewett.
If you have ideas on where to look or who to ask, I would be very grateful.
Karl B.
