Thomas Fultz/aka:Thomas Hoffman
I recently found a diary of my grandmother's (Grace Fultz Stell) where she wrote of Thomas B Fultz (10 Oct 1843 - 10 Aug 1911.) In it, she said that "Uncle Tommie" "...helped bury the dead at Little Big Horn." She adds that he "...changed his name to 'Hoffman'..." after "deserting" during the civil war. She says that he married a "Laura Hoffman Green" and moved to Gainsville, Ohio. They "had four children." She writes that his mother, Catherine Edith "Katie" Cramer Fultz (10 Oct 1814 - 2 May 1896) died without ever seeing him alive, again. And that "she never knew the truth." His father was Peter Fultz (11 Nov 1809 - 29 Dec 1863) son of Jacob Folzt(12 Aug 1786 - 11 Aug 1857) and Catherine "Katie" Signer (1791 - died unk.)
My line goes: Jacob/Peter/David/Charles/Grace Fultz Stell-Lawrence Stell,jr/me
Any help would be most appreciated,
Thanksm
