I'm trying to find the following information about Daniel Pentz and Catherine Chase for my family genealogy.
Daniel Pentz/Pence was born 1780 in Maryland; died in
1819 Greene County, Pennsylvania.
He married Catherine Chase in 1808 in Greene Co. Pennsylvania. She was born about 1796 in Greene Co. Pennsylvania. Died in Muskingum County, Ohio.
They had the following children:
1. George Pence, born 1809; married Mary Guffney 1835 Last place I found him was Ohio when he married.
2. Catherine Pence, born 1811
3. Elizabeth Pence, born 1813
4. Susan Pence, born 1814
5. David Peter Pence, born 1816; married Rachel Barto 1850
6. Robert Daniel Pence, born 1818 Greene Co. PA; died
1897 in Appanoose County, Iowa. married Jane Fisher. I have this couples information.
7. Polly Pence, born 1820 Greene Co. PA She was born after
her father's death.
After Daniel died, Catherine and her children moved to
Muskingum County, Ohio. She may have remarried a man
with the last name Hawkins.
