Deceased Name: Jacob 'Jake' Metzger, 21

NEW LEXINGTON -- Jacob "Jake" Metzger, 21, of 585 Collingwood Ave., Whitehall, formerly of Danville, passed away Dec. 29, 2003.

He is remembered as a devoted son, beloved brother and compassionate friend whose generous heart and passionate spirit so brightly touched the lives of those he loved.

Surviving are his father, Brice Metzger brothers, Mark Metzger, Luke Metzger and Karl Metzger.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Beverly Metzger.

Calling hours will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 5, 2004, at St. Patrick's Church, Junction City. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Patrick's Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Dawes Arboretum, 7770 Jacksontown Road, SE, Newark, 43056.

Chute-Wiley Funeral Home, 118 S. Jackson St., New Lexington is in charge of arrangements.
