I am looking for information regarding my gggrandfather Benjamin Frnaklin "Frank" McFarland. Accordinf to his death certificate he was born on December 24, 1854 and his name was spelled Bergimar Franklin McFarlin. According to a story in the book, A History of Jasper County, (Jasper County, Illinois), he was bonded out to a Tanner family in St. Louis, MO, he then moved across the Mississippi into Jasper and Coles County in Illinois. He met and married Eliza Jane Reed in July 1878. They had eleven children. He died on May 5, 1938 and is buried in the Riverside Cemetery in Newton, IL. If any one know anything about him please let me know. I am at a dead end in my research. Thank you
