My ancestor Seneca D. Russell married Tabitha Rodgers on February 21, 1839, in Delaware County; but their part of Delaware later became a part of Morrow County. I have not been able to discover the names of Tabitha's parents, but census data suggested that they came from Pennsylvania. I have looked into the lives of several Rodgers/Rogers men in Morrow and have not been able to connect any of those men to Tabitha. Perhaps there is a Rogers expert in central Ohio who can help me. And did Ohio require marriage bonds in 1839? JM at 11mitchell@mchsi.com
