This is not my Elias Wilson, but want to give for someone who can use this. Elias Wilson Sr. on April 16th, 1878 applied for pension at the Clerk of Courts. He was 86 at the time and a resident of Bennington, Morrow Co, Ohio. He served as a private in the company of Captain Caufield
Baldwin in the NY Militia. He enlisted in the war of 1812 at Oneida Co, NY Oct. 1812 for the term of 21 days and since his discharge he resided in Morrow, County, Ohio.
At the time of his enlistment his description was: Age 27 or 28 years. Occupation farmer. Born in county of Windsor, State of Vermont. Height: 5ft. 6in, Hair: dark, Eyes: blue, Complexion: fair.
