I am looking for the Jacob Van Buskirk that was born abt 1803 in Pennsylvania. By 1830 he was living in Ohio and had nine (9) children by 1860. They were Elizabeth, Rachel, Sarah, Samantha, John, Jacob, Owen, Lewis, and Mary. He and most of his family settled in the Manistee County, Mich. area. Owen is Owen Christian Van Buskirk; b. Jan 1852 in Perry, Morrow, OH. He was my gg grandfather. His daughter Mary Ellen married my great grandfather Charles John Cole.
I have not been able to get any farther back on Jacob with any surety
The info from the 1860 Perry, Morrow, OH Federal Census gives his wife as Mary, b. abt 1814 in Penn.
Thanks!
