Katreana: I have some of these people in my family tree (Murphy Scott Family Tree). If you have access to it, you can compare the relationship.

I have all the Morgan County birth books, marriage books, death books and cemetery books that are in print. Here’s what I found:

-No mention of Wilbur Gheen.
-No mention of Elmer Gheen.
-In Mt. Olivet cemetery, there is a Jennie Gheen b: 06 May 1888, d:02 June 1888. In the cemetery book, she is listed near David W. and Elizabeth A.
-In the Early Vital Records of Morgan County deaths book there is a Fanny May Gheen, d: 06 May 1888 at age 26 days (the print is fuzzy, but that is what it appears to be). She was born and resided in Hooksburg. Parents are not listed:(
- In the Marriage book E, David W. (?) Gheen and Elizabeth Ann Miller were married on 12 June 1872.
- In the Marriage book E, there is a David W. Lyne and Eliza J. Elliott married on 27 Dec 1876. Perhaps the source of discrepancy???

I cannot find another Morgan County marriage for David W. Gheen. I live/work near the Ohio Genealogy Society (OSG) – they have quite a bit on each Ohio county as well as each state. I go there often to do research. If you could provide me with any more info, I would be happy to pursue this mystery.
