I've been going through the Morgan County census records for 1820 and 1830 and am not finding solid information on these families. The Seaman's are present and accounted for in Malta beginning in 1820 and on into the 1880's. There are no Conners listed for Morgan County in 1820, 1830 & 1840, but there are some in nearby counties (Athens and Belmont). There is, however, an Arthur Coiner and a George L. Coiner in Morgan County--possibly a misspelling of "Conner." Mattisons are even harder to find. There are no listed for these years, but there are some Matsons.
