This is great information. Thank you. The marriage date in my original post is a typo. I was assuming it to be about 1857 (not 1847) because they had a son by about 1858.

George Lawrence (b about 1834) first appears in the 1850 Malta Ohio census, at age 16, living with parents Henry and Ann. Living nearby there is a Harman Seaman with wife Mary A who have someone named Charlotte Ann Conner living with them. I don't know who the Seamans are: possibly Charlotte's older sister or a mother who remaried.

After this the census records consistently show George & Charolotte (or Lotta), along with son William H., together. 1860 shows them in Malta, 1870 & 1880 shows them in 3rd ward Cincinnati (in 1880 they are called Geo D and Lotta Ann).

Son William H is my husband's great grandfather.
