3 Smiths-Ohio / Penn. prior to 1818
NEW APPROACH! I am searching for Smith family prior to 1810. In 1818 in Morgan and Muskingham co., ohio. From Chester, Pennsylvania. Welsh Quakers. There are 3 Nathan Smith's in Morgan and Muskingham Co., Ohio in the early 1800's. I would like to sort these 3 Nathan Smith's out. My particler Nathan was b.in 1786, Chester, Penn;d.1844 in Morgan Co., and is buried in Blue Rock cem., Muskingham County (he lived on the county line.) I believe he had a brother David(1786-1864) and a brother Joseph b.1785. Nathan had 13 children!!! David had 11. Surely someone has info on these brothers prior to 1818 when they showed up in Morgan County. I would take any info on any of the families. Another Nathan became guardian to an Amos and George B. Smith b. in Guernsey county. This looks to be only about 10 miles from my Nathan's home. Perhaps these Nathans were cousins? Let me know if you have anything. I will try to compile it all to sort out the mystery and perhaps get some new leads!!!!Connecting surnames - Baker, Wartenbe, Howard, James, Morris, Townsend,Lee, Connell, Briggs, Moore,Barr, Grubb, Shilling,Jackson, Harriman, Winner, Harrington, Harshfield. Thanks, Connie
