Thank you for the information for the children of Silas F. DeWitt and Sarah (Peterson) DeWitt in Montgomery Co Ohio. Would like to find record for death of Silas DeWitt (probably in Montgomery Co Ohio) although they lived in Greene Co Ohio. Some family are buried at Germantown. This Silas apparently the son of Elijah Friend DeWitt who moved with wife Sarah Beham and children from Knox Co Ohio to Fulton County Illinois about 1853. Silas seems to be an adult child who did not remove to Illinois with the rest of his family. Trying to find the DeWitt Family data in Knox Co Ohio, Greene Co. Ohio and Fulton Co. Illinois. Note: I see where you are looking for Butler Family. The Bakery in Van Wert is the Butler Bakery. Thanks for your help. Dorothy DeWitt Craft.
