Denison's in Dayton by 1869

Daniel Alhira Denison b. 1840 NY of Asa Denison and Sylvia Horsford.

Daniel m. Mary Jane or Mary E. Brierly. Had children: Walter Asa Denison. (b. 1869 in Dayton, Montgomery Co., OH). Other children: Harriet, Leverett & Mamie. Later moved to Minnesota.

Leverett was a railroad switch operator who was confined to a mental institution after causing a fatal train collision.

Walter Asa Denison met future wife, Emily Charlotte Sims (of England)in Minnesota. They married in Cathay, ND in 1894. He worked for the Soo Line Railroad, in the banking in industry in ND and later as a farmer. Children from this union: Marion (d. within a year), Alice Virginia, Phyllis and Clinton Asa Denison.

Walter Asa Denison d. in 1945 in a farming accident, where the horses ran away and he fell on the mowing machine (sickle).
