My great-great grandparents were Patrick Henry Hayes (Hays)and Elizabeth Farrell Hayes (Hays). They lived in Kenton County, Kentucky in the 1860 census; Mad River Township, Montgomery County, Ohio in the 1870 census and Monroe City, Darke County, Ohio in the 1880 census. They moved to Piatt County Illinois about 1881. According to their obits. they were married on June 20, 1848 however there is no indication as to where they were married. On the LDS website the marriage is listed as Dayton, Ohio. I really doubt that the LDS information is correct. Would you please check the marriage information you have available to see if in fact they were married in Dayton. This is one time I would be happy to be wrong with my opinion. The 1900 Piatt County census indicates Patrick was a naturalized citizen but I have no idea where he took his oath. Are there records on an Ohio site that have an index of Naturalizations?

Thank you for your help.
