Carpenter/Megley deaths

In 1949, my husband's grandfather and uncle died as a result of a high wind in Dayton that blew down their chimney and "poisoned" them with either carbon monoxide or smoke. They survived a few days.

Egbert MEGLEY died 13 May 1949.

Hillary McKinley CARPENTER died a few days later, exact date not yet received.

I would very much like to get a newspaper article on this tragedy. And an obituary for Uncle Hillary to learn his parents' names. He was a WWI veteran from Guernsey Co., OH, so the headline might highlight that.
