Hi Barbara
The Dayton Daily News has a service on their website where you can order old obits and articles for a small fee. I don't know how far back they go, but it is worth checking into. Also, the old newspapers are archived at the Dayton Public Library downtown, but are only indexed after 1988, so you really have to know what you are looking for and have an exact date.
