Thank you, Steve. This is probably an older brother to my GGF, George Harrison Marshall and the son of George S. Marshall of Zanesville. We have a copy of GHMs letter written from Appomattox Court House VA at Lee's surrender to his brother R. M. at Dayton - Because of his age, R. M. didn't show up with family in Muskingum Co. in 1850 - I think you filled in one of our blanks.
