I have not been able to learn anything about Charles after 1860 when he was on the Fed Census in Dayton. I did learn he was a professor at Urbana college in Champaign co OH until 1859,but must have returned to Dayton by the consus. He is not in the 1870 Fed Index for Ohio, so I don't know when or where he died. If you ever get a chance to see the monument you mentioned again, I would appreciate any information from it. Thank you for your reply.
