I am looking for Griffith /Baker descendents of this marriage. I believe Winifred Baker might have been the daughter of Caleb C. Baker, my 3rd great-grandfather, who lived in Montgomery County, Ohio during the 1830's.
On 23 May 1843 Winifred Baker married John E. Griffith in Montgomery County, Ohio. In the 1860 Federal Census for Harrison Township, Montgomery, Ohio there is a John Griffith and Winifred with children Henry F (age 13) and Lena E. (11). It's possible this Henry F married a Frances M and lived in Clay, Montgomery, Ohio according to the 1880 Federal Census. Their children would be Henry E. Griffith, Amanda F, Harvey E, Hattie E and Mary E.
If anybody knows of this Griffith family from Montgomery County, please let me know!
Jan Swart
